With the official start of summer on the 21st June we can [hopefully] look forward to some long hot summer days where we can soak up the sun, enjoy the great outdoors, and eat some of our summer favourites!
Our seasonal menu is already set for summer and here are just a couple of summery treats you can look forward to enjoying…
Dressed Lymington Crab with fresh samphire grass and a saffron aioli, and our spectacular Frutti Di Mare: Lymington avocado & crab salad, with fjordling smoked Test trout, tiger prawns cocktail sauce, and smoked peppercorn mackerel!
Fish gives a great sense of summer and ours is not long from the sea so you can enjoy that just-caught taste!
For dessert our Pavlova Citrus Meringue with seasonal fruit and berries, and chantilly cream is a light and fresh option in the summer, and of course you can’t go wrong with our fresh fruit salad!
Wash all these summer flavours down with a glass or two of wine, such as our Zinfandel Blush, a medium style rose showing red berry and pink grapefruit aromas complemented by a fruity and smooth flavour, perfect on a warm summers eve.
