1. Add more texture
The different textures make a salad more interesting. To get more texture in your salad you can put nuts and seeds in it. You can use sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, walnuts or pecans. It makes your salad taste different as well as you have something extra in it not just the usual green leaves. You can choose which one you prefer the best and which one go well with your salad: vinaigrette, honey mustard dressing, creamy salad dressings, olive oil dressings or lemon dressings.
6. Add meat to your salad
Salad doesn’t have to be just vegetables, you can make it more exciting with some meat. It is up to you what you put in your salad, you can make it with grilled chicken, turkey, grilled steak, smoked ham, tuna or salmon. Choose what you prefer the most and enjoy, it will also make your salad more filling.
7. Add something smoky to your salad
A little smoky taste will add a lot of flavour to your salad. Depending on what salad you are making you can vary the things you put in it. You can have some smoked almonds, smoked cheese or smoked ham. These ingredients will give a completely different taste to your salad.

First get a plastic container you want to store your lettuce in and put some paper towels at the bottom. This will absorb any excess moisture and will keep the lettuce fresh and crisp. Put it in the container seal the lid and put it in your refrigerator and when you want to make a salad it will be fresh.
